APPLE CREATION TOOL THAT SAYS IF AN IPHONE OR IPAD is blocked by iCloud

One of the main problems buying used iPhone or iPad is not the fear of it being a stolen device. From iOS 7, Apple allows (thankfully) that the device is locked if the true owner does not put the password in the iCloud registered device (called blocking activation). With this, there are many cases of people who buy an iPhone "starving" online and receive it when they find they can not use it.

To prevent people from being deceived by dishonest sellers, Apple this week launched an excellent tool that lets you know if a device is blocked by iCloud or not, which can help avoid buying a stolen device.

No need to connect to iCloud or an account on the Service, just enough to get the IMEI or serial number of the device. Then the information presented Apple interested in the page, which tells the time if the lock is on or not.

On: The device can only be unlocked with the original owner password iCloud
Off: The device can be used by anyone

Now to buy an iPhone, iPod or iPad through Internet, which requires the photo on the box or the back of the unit where the serial number or IMEI appears. This photo also appears that requires a note with your name, proving that the seller really made that picture and not covered by another device that is not one.

It is a tool that fewer people are deceived, discourage further theft of Apple devices. Therefore, thief, draws the eye from my iPhone!
