Apple iPhone 6 VS Samsung Galaxy S5

Performance: Draw

Galaxy S5 and iPhone 6 are many different smartphones, but certainly offer the very best in terms of hardware. The first follows a 801 Snapdragon chip manufactured by Qualcomm, while the second comes with the new A8 processor, created by Apple.

Taking into account the specifications, both offer fluid experience to run any application available on the App Store or Google Play, from the simplest to the most demanding and heavy. So if you do not want to have headache with crashes or anything like that, both must satisfy you.

The new iPhone is bigger, but that does not necessarily reflect in more time away from the outlet. The trend is that the new Apple smart lasts a full day with normal use, or about 14 hours with activated mobile connection.

The average is the same as the Galaxy S5, but the handset from Samsung offers a software feature that reduces power consumption of the screen, which is in black and white, and off the main connectivities, leaving the phone able to last a few more hours in case of emergency. The difference is little, but manages to put the Korean handset ahead.

The cameras of both devices are among the best available in their segments with some analysis tending more towards one or the other depending on conditions. Apple claims to have improved the sensor of iPhone 6 with a digital stabilization system, plus a sensor with greater openness. However, it is not yet possible to evaluate the results on a daily basis, hence the tie.

If you are interested in quality cameras and is a doubt buying a Galaxy S5 now or wait for the iPhone 6, consider the software features they offer: the Samsung are more than 10 different modes of capture and an interface somewhat confusing compared with less resources (time lapse and slow motion are some of them) and better usability on the iPhone.

Both the iPhone with iOS 8, as the Galaxy S5 with Android KitKat have great performance

Galaxy S5 and iPhone 6 are equipped with the most sophisticated operating systems market. Both offer a multitude of apps and have their advantages and disadvantages. The Android Samsung is dedicated to those who want more customization and productivity in mobile, while iOS is dedicated to users who want to do simple very well.

There are many comparisons between Google and Apple software, but be sure that both Galaxy S5 as iPhone 6 offer the very best in their respective platforms, with the second showing a more refined and simpler design than the first. The trick is to test both before deciding.
